Focus Groups

  • Small gatherings of residents who meet for a one off, or just a few sessions, to discuss a service, for example repairs.
  • Approximately two hours a session, daytime or evening to suit you.

  • A pot of money available for you to apply for, if you and your neighbours want to see an improvement in your environment.
  • A few hours work to prepare and submit your bid.

Resident Checkers

  • Check documents that we are going to send out to a lot of people and help us make sure the information is in plain language, understandable and jargon free. All checked documents will carry the resident checked logo.
  • Checking a few documents a year from the comfort of your own home, at a time that suits you. You may be given a deadline to return your comments.

Voice I.T. (Consultation Group)

  • A chance to have your say in what happens in your community by giving your views and/or raising issues that are important to you.

Community Voice (Neighbourhood Newsletter)

  • Quarterly estate newsletter run by you and your neighbours, supported by Radian.

Speak up (Sounding Board)

  • A group of randomly selected residents, aged between 18 and 35, who agree to complete 3 to 4 surveys a year on a specific service.

    10-20 minutes to complete each survey at home, either by email, text, Radian's website, post or telephone.

Interviewing Staff

  • Sit on an interview panel, as an observer, to help select the right person for the right job.

    Approximately 2 to 3 times a year, depending on what jobs become vacant.

  • Sit on an interview panel to help select the right contractor for major planned works or other large contracts.

    Approximately 1 or 2 times a year to assess tenders that have been submitted.

Talk Online

  • Talk Online meetings give you an opportunity to chat with staff from Radian and other guest community agencies, from the comfort of your own home!

    You will be able to talk live with staff and other neighbours about issues that are of concern to you in your community.
