Radian Board
5 day time meetings a year, lasting between 3 and 4 hours. Regular reading and training
All residents, including wider community
Purpose - To set future direction.
Outcome - To ensure that any changes to service provision is for the good of all residents and demonstrates value for money. Recommendations are then made directly to the Area Panels.

Continuous Improvement Groups (CIGs)

Purpose - That residents can influence the way all services are delivered and help ensure standards are maintained and services are improved, but still provide value for money
Outcome - Recommendations for changes to service policy and procedure are made to the Association's Board

Assess and approve Life Improvement Grants and Community Grants
4-6 meetings a year, in conjunction with the Open Area Management CIG and the Resident Involvement CIG respectively.
All Rother residents
Purpose - To authorise applications for grants from Rother residents or local community organisations to environmentally improve local areas or local community services
Outcome - The environmental image, security and community safety of local estates are improved. Local community services are supported allowing valuable services to all of the community to be established or continue

Training and Conferences

All Radian residents where clear link to developing involvement and life skills is identified
Purpose - Either essential to the involvement option chosen or will help individuals become more involved and empowered to take a leading role in the future
Outcome - Improved skills and knowledge. In turn this will build motivation, effectiveness and confidence

Neighbourhood Club / Resident Association
Attend regular meetings, as agreed by the Committee. Can simply join or stand for election onto the Committee

Purpose - To bring about improvements to local neighbourhoods by discussing issues with neighbours and agreeing a positive way forward
Outcome - Feedback and recommendations, where appropriate, will be passed on to relevant service, Continuous Improvement Group and other agencies

Magazine Editorial Team
Between 4 and 8 hours a month, depending on how much reporting you would like to do. More time would be needed if you became the Editor

Purpose - To ensure that residents are very much involved in the production of the magazine by writing articles and influencing the general content and layout of the publication that will appeal to the majority of readers
Outcome - Through the involvement of residents produce a magazine that is topical and of general interest to all. Encourage resident involvement

Resident Auditors
2 service inspections consisting of 2 day attendance on site and 2 to 3 weeks preparation of report/sharing of findings
All residents of Radian - full training will be given
Purpose - A group of residents to scrutinise all aspects of a certain service, identifying strengths and weaknesses
Outcome - Feedback passed on to relevant service group and Continuous Improvement Group to help prioritise an action plan for improvements

Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Grants
Quarterly meetings with the ASB Continuous Improvement Group
All Radian residents
Purpose - To authorise applications for grants to divert residents away from causing nuisance and ASB
Outcome - To reduce the number of incidents of ASB and to reduce the fear of crime and ASB
