Drum Housing signs up to Crimestoppers

Petersfield based Drum Housing Association has been the first organisation to join the Corporate Membership scheme newly launched by Hampshire & IOW Crimestoppers.

A certificate to mark this new relationship will be handed over at Drum Housings main offices

We are impressed with the Crimestoppers work and would like to support them in Hampshire, says Petra Norris, Housing Manager at Drum. Included amongst our tenants are vulnerable people whose welfare is our concern.  It makes good sense to support a charity which works for a stronger and safer society.

Simon Hayes, chairman of Crimestoppers in Hampshire adds "We have launched this scheme to get the support of the business community just like those who backed Crimestoppers at its outset in Albuquerque, New Mexico thirty years ago. We  want to focus on the under reporting of business crime and hope our members will help us to be better known by both their clients and their employees, as well as the public at large. We believe that a partnership with Crimestoppers can add to both profitability and the morale of a company."

Drum Housing Association is a social landlord registered with the Housing Corporation that provides high quality housing to around 4500 households in East Hampshire, Portsmouth, Gosport and West Sussex.
