Gardening competition - 21st July 2011

The Gardening competition for sheltered housing residents was judged on the 21st July this year. Sheltered Scheme entrants were Fletchers Field in Liphook, Chestnut Court in Bordon, Oak Lodge in Bordon, Champney Close in Whitehill, Causeway Farm in Horndean, Siward House in Petersfield, Carlings in Alton, Rother House in Liss, Farthing Fields in Headley, Readon Close in Petersfield, and Ramscote in Petersfield

Best Communal Gardens – Causeway Farm

Runner Up Best Communal Gardens – Oak Lodge

Best Garden – 12 Readon Close

Runner Up Best Garden – 10 Carlings

Best Floral Display – 47 Causeway Farm

Runner Up Best Floral Display – 5 Rother House

Both Kerri from Keydells and Ann Budd (resident Life Line customer) judged the competition and will be presenting the prizes during a presentation of Trophies and Keydell Vouchers on 9th August. All entrants will receive a certificate.

The judges saw some fantastic gardens on their tour and it was very difficult to decide on the winners. Thank you to everyone for taking part on the day!
