Good Neighbour Award

Joyce Hays, a resident at Orchard House, Alton, was given a Hampshire
County Council Good Neighbour Award. Fellow resident Norman Gill had
nominated his kind and considerate neighbour who received her award from
Councillor Andrew Joy on behalf of the leader of Hampshire County Council,
Ken Thornber CBE.

The HCC awards, in partnership with Age Concern Hampshire, Brendoncare
Club Hampshire, Carers Together, Good Neighbours Support Service and
the WRVS, recognise the tremendous support that many people across the
country give by helping their neighbours in their local communities.
