Drum Housing Association wins Design Award
Drum Housing Association (DHA) won the District Council's Design Award 1998 for the Rookes Mews development in Love Lane, Petersfield. The site was originally the Poor Law Institute and was built in 1836 by the Petersfield Union to provide accommodation for up to 152 people. It was hit by the only bomb to be dropped on Petersfield during the Second World War, which demolished a large part of the front of the building and killed seven people.
